Video killed the radio star

It's been said that video killed the radio star, now it seem's that CMT is trying to kill the video star!
:Cmt is playing a lot more movies and long form shows than it ever did, and it has eliminated All Access, Delivery Room and other programing. They are going to limit the number of video's on their playlist to 39.
:The question I have is will artist's want to go through the trouble and expense(remember, the artist pays for the video not the label)of making a video if there is only a limited amount of spots available?
