This summer's Girls' Night Out tour, featuring Reba McEntire, Martina McBride, Sara Evans, Jamie O'Neal, and Carolyn Dawn Johnson, will launch July 13 in Las Vegas.
From there, the 24-date tour will make its way across the country through an Aug. 18 date in Louisville, Ky. McEntire will leave her heralded lead role in the Broadway production of Annie Get Your Gun to headline the tour.
McEntire and McBride are both previous winners of the Country Music Association's Female Vocalist of the Year award. They collaborated on a remake of the Patti LaBelle and Michael McDonald hit "On My Own" on McEntire's 1995 album, Starting Over. This tour will be the first for O'Neal, who recently topped the country charts with her single "There Is No Arizona."
Arista Nashville signee Johnson, a former backup singer for McBride who recently released her debut single, "Georgia," will open the shows with a brief acoustic set. Johnson's first album, Room with a View, is slated for a late summer release.
