Desert camping is great in March/April and also in the fall. It was about 75-80 yesterday for the high, but it was chilly at night. We had a roaring fire and LOTS of blankets! =)

After we broke down camp, we spent some time running around this old mining town, and then drove home past HUGE fields of poppies. Man, there were millions of them, all over the hill sides & fields. GORGEOUS! Made me want to climb to the top to see if the Emerald City was on the other side! LOL =)
