Well, since most of you probably came here from the Martina McBride site, I will start by giving you the history of the page.

It all started simply enough, I wanted to learn how to publish a web page! I had surfed the web for about a year and decided that it was time to jump in and become a driver instead of a passenger.

I needed a topic that would be able to grow as time went by, that would allow me to use lots of neat graphics and applications. And, most importantly of all, would keep my attention long enough to create a good page!

I had been a fan of the Ronna Reeves web site and I decided that Martina also deserved her place here on the www! I would have never imagined when we started that it would grow into a site that is attracting over 200 hits per day! Thank you to everyone who's visited!

My Hobbies & Interests

As if you couldn't guess by the links on this page, I like music and fast cars. I've been playing the guitar and writing songs for about 10 years now. Nothing spectacular, but I enjoy it!

I could be classified as a complete music nut! I like all different types of music, depending largely on my mood. I can just as easily listen to Frank Sinatra or Aerosmith for hours on end, much to the dismay of my neighbors I'm sure! As of late, the louder the better. Thus, the current Ted Nugent fascination. I got a chance to check out Ted in concert a couple of weeks back, and let me tell you the man has ENERGY!

Country music has influenced me greatly ever since I picked up a guitar. At the time, Dwight Yoakam was just hitting the scene, and I loved the guitar work on those albums. I then discovered George Strait, who is one of my favorite singers. Then this guy named Garth started recording, and he really helped merge a lot of musical styles that I enjoyed. Thanks GB!

As far as cars go, I'm a speed-a-holic! Now, don't get me wrong, I don't drive 100 mph down the highway in my new polo green Chevrolet Camaro Z-28, but I have gotten it up to 95! I'd love to get the chance one day to go one of Richard Petty's driving schools that are held in Atlanta, Charlotte, Las Vegas and Orlando. If you've got the time, and the cash call 1-800-BE-PETTY.

Until then, I will have to root for my favorite NASCAR Winston Cup drivers like Dale Earnhardt and Kenny Wallace. A perfect year would end with Dale Earnhardt's eighth Winston Cup Championship. And, perhaps a win somewhere for Kenny! We'll see...
