 What Will Martina Sing Tonight?, any thoughts- any suggestions?

I think Martina will sing "how I feel"..I kind of would like to see her sing "love land"..
Ps. I think Carrie Underwood will win for multiple awards tonight, and EOY will go to Tim Mcgraw (I think industry politics are in play there). However I would love to see TK win tonight (again thanks tp politics I dont see that happening anytime soon)- anybodyd else have any thoughts? |

I am almost positive it will be HIF because this is her new single. I hope Carrie doesn't sweep these awards. I am ready for someone else to get them.

Oh I'd definitely put my money on "How I Feel." She sang it on the Today Show, so it only makes sense to me that she'd do that one. I'm thinkin' Carrie will be a big winner tonight, and that's okay. I am very proud of how incredibly well the "Some Hearts" record has done, and I know Martina is going to be proud of whoever wins tonight, even her competition. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) But of course I'll be cheering the loudest for Martina whenever they call out her name. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I wouldn't count Martina out for a Female Vocalist win. Carrie has had huge success, no doubt. And she has swept most of the recent awards. But the academy can't give her EVERYTHING, and if they do, the overkill is going to drive fans away from her instead of making them root for her. Remember, a lot of factors play into these awards. Carrie doesn't have her very own concert tour the way Martina does. Martina has also done a lot for the industry outside of just recording and touring over the past year. They both deserve a win, but I think the only one we can DEFINITELY rule out winning Female Vocalist is Miranda Lambert!

I am hoping for I'll Still Be Me, but I highly doubt it. I thought maybe because it is her anniversary though. I think it will be How I Feel as it is the new single.

I would be surprised if she didnt sing "How I Feel"...I also think Martina has a good shot at Female Vocalist for this one! It will either be her or Carrie. I hope Carrie wins the other awards she is nominated for, but I hope Martina wins this one.

I'll be reading to find out when Martina sings so I don't have to watch the entire 3+ hour show. GAC will have a live pre-show starting at 7 eastern.

If she does "Anyway" or "How I Feel" I'll be happy with either one.... However, I'm 95% sure she will most likely do "How I Feel."

Same here! Since she sang HIF on the Today Show I'm sure she'll be singing it. I also hope that Carrie doesn't win EVERYTHING I'm not saying she shouldn't win anything b/c she has had another great year but I think its time to let some others be recognized for their efforts. |

I'm sure she'll sing How I Feel to promote the new single!
Keep in mind that these awards are for the calendar year 2006, so Martina's new music wasn't released yet. And no one had a better year than Carrie. Carrie did not win ACM Female Vocalist last year. She most definitely will win it this year. |
