I did not know she was up for top new FV! I don't pay much attention to award shows but I'd have thought last year would have been the only year she would have been eligibale for that. Do you happen to know if Miranda is performing tonight? Thanks for the info in advance as I am leaving the board in a minute or two. I don't know off-hand if Miranda is performing. She may be...But artists can be nominated twice for Top New Vocalist awards (at least I know with the CMA's the limit is twice, so I'm assuming ACM is the same). |

I agree. I am not a big fan- but far is far and she had a fantastic year.... I wonder what would happen if ANYBODY but on of those two won. Of everybody on the list those are probabily the 2 most deserving. Besides I dont remember who on the board old me this - but some brew haha went around when Martina won her 4th CMA award... |

I meant to say fair is fair. Also lets fact it: This show is going up against Dancing with the stars and AI- if people are going to tune in it will be to see Carrie win.. She is the biggest thing in country music right now.. |

Martina is BY FAR the best vocalist in the category. The rest are average or below average to be honest with the exception of Faith Hill. With that being said, I think Carrie will win
