From www.wycd.com: At a special album release event Doctor Don asked Martina McBride to do the WYCD Christmas Concert. Martina hesitated when she found out that Doc would be at the show. Do you think that she should relent and come to Detroit to entertain WYCD listeners? go vote here! go to the right side of the screen and there is a poll where you can vote! --------------------

Doc is Dr.Don, 1 of the station's DJ's. And I have good news! Martina's COMING TO DETROIT! She'll be at the Palace of Auburn Hills Thirsday December 8 with LeAnn Rimes and Carrie Underwood! All ticket sales go to Habitat for Humanity for Hurricane victimes, and tickets go on sale next Friday morning at 10 am! I can't wait! My mom said we could go!

Quick article: Feature Story 99.5 WYCD & Chrysler Financial Present the Country Cares For Hurricane Relief Holiday Concert 99.5 WYCD and Chrysler Financial are pleased to welcome Martina McBride, Leann Rimes, and Carrie Underwood to the 9th Annual WYCD Holiday Concert. This years event is so huge we had to move it to The Palace of Auburn Hills. Tickets will go on-sale on Friday, October 28th at 10am at all Ticketmaster locations including the Palace Box Office, online at palacenet.com or charge by phone at 248.645.6666. OH MY GOSH....This is the happiest thing ever to happen in my life!! lol...Martina and Carrie are my two favorites.....you have NO IDEA how excited I am!! OM MY GOSH!!!!!!! Does anyone know when this concert will be? I dont care when it is, I will be there!!! Even if i have to skip classes!

Yeah I think i was sitting next to you kind of...ANyway I bet its going to be really hard to get good seats for this concert but I dont even care....I just cant believe they are coming together! I couldnt be more excited right now! I got an Autographed cd on Timeless in the mail yesterday and now I get to go see Martina and Carrie in concert! Too awesome!

LOL I told my mom I'd bet that a lot of tickets would be sold, for a number of reasons:
1. Martina's not even doing a Joy of Christmas tour this year, so this will be her only Christmas show probably
2. It's for a good cause
3. There's lots of Martina fans, as well as LeAnn Rimes and Carrie Underwood fans!
4. It's at the Palace of Auburn Hills- more people will go
