I'm still debating whether to get tickets for her Monday show in Hershey...First, I don't know who I would invite to come along with me, my Mom? My 5 year old daughter?

And I can get fairly decent tickets, but does it matter how close or not I am to the stage?

Anyone else going to the Hershey concert?

Never miss an opportunity to attend a Martina concert. Go alone if you have to, but go.

Exactly!!! Martina is phenomenal live, so it doesn't really matter if you go alone or with someone else, because you will be mesmerized by the Martina magic the entire time anyway biggrin.gif

As to how close to the stage you are, I think it's always more fun when you are close and can see the expression on the performer's face and all that smile.gifEspecially that Martina has an amazing connection with the audience. So to me it's always better to be closer biggrin.gif

The 2006 Fab Four Tour was an absolute blast!!! Thank you Martina, John, the Fab Three (:D) and everyone else involved in making it such a memorable experience!!! Can't wait to do it again!! :)

Keep it coming..lol!!

I'm a little hesitant going alone, although I'd go alone if I knew there'd be some young handsome single country boys, lol..

I just need to confirm a sitter for my kids Monday night and make sure my Mom will pay for her ticket, or make sure she won't mind me going solo and her watching the kids and i think i'll be placing my call this afternoon..

I won't be close enough to see facial expressions, that's for sure, but i won't be in the nosebleed section..

It's Martina. Nuff Said. biggrin.gif

Bring the whole family. Both times I saw Martina. I brought my dad and the second time I brought my mom. When I saw LeAnn Rimes, I brought both my parents and my aunt and uncle. All the shows, they all liked it.

Sooner you get tickets, the better, check ticketmaster.com to see where you can get tickets. More people, harder it is to get tickets though.

Closer is better of course, you can get pictures if the place allows it but you will not lose out on the second best thing about Martina from how far you are away. Her voice.

If you want to fly me down and get me tickets and a hotel room, I will go. laugh.gif

To go very far
How would they hear the beating of my heart
Will it grow cold
The secret that I hide, will I grow old
How will they hear
When will they learn
How will they know

Why not bring your 5 year old daughter? I brought my 2 1/2 year old (at the time) to the Joy of Christmas show! You certainly know it'll be a family friendly show! smile.gif

I'm taking my daughter and 2 grandkids(10&11) tomarrow night.we are sitting 5th row.Seeing Martina in person is special. It is almost magical. You are cheating your self out of a really amazing show if you don't go.It blows you away, you hear her sing on tv,but seeing it person, takes you to a level you never thought possible. You see and hear her hit notes and are blown away by her talent all over again, because some of the magic just can't be captured on film.

I agree!

It's also like some "censored" experiences that are better left unsaid since there are kids on this website.

Okay, it's like getting your drivers license renewed for the 2nd time in 10 years. Never gets old. laugh.gif

I went alone to my last Martina concert (#6), and it was a brave thing to do on my part, BUT I was able to meet up with a fellow Martina-viller, so it turned out that I wasn't so alone, but I woulda done it no matter what!! I am also meeting some more for the first time at a Timeless show in March, & I cannot wait!!! smile.gifAnyway, I hope you go...I LOVE her live shows...nothin' like 'em!! smile.gif

--------------------
Timeless is the BEST of all the shows I've ever seen Martina do! Paying tribute to those artists literally brought tears to my eyes!! Thank-you Martina for keeping the roots of country music alive!! It just cannot get any better!
