with Martina and her songs? I first saw Martina when I beleive she opened for Little Texas, at that point I thought she was good, but it wasn't until her Greatest Hits CD came out that I knew she was my all time favorite. I realized I had quite the collection of CD's AND every song on the album was awesome. From then on I was a reformed person! biggrin.gif

Timeless is the BEST of all the shows I've ever seen Martina do! Paying tribute to those artists literally brought tears to my eyes!! Thank-you Martina for keeping the roots of country music alive!! It just cannot get any better!

"in the time when I was born, lived a man who sailed to sea ..."

you could say i've been hearing Martina sing 'all together now' since then. if you think that's not possible, i knew her sound before she had toured in my area, and it freaked me out, but less than knowing what that meant when i heard the next singer to do that to me ... .

"In love" with Martina's singing, for real? We went past 'like' by the second album ..., at which point I already loved the first one

When a good friend of mine showed me her Where Would You Be performance on her DVD. It was last summer (2005). The song was appropriate for my situation at the time and I was amazed at how much heart and soul was put into every note by this beautiful woman with a very special voice. I've been a fan ever since. Martina and her music will always have a special place in my heart. She's the best.
