I just finished reading the Country Weekly article on Josh Turner and Randy Travis. If Martina teams up to do this show, which country artist would be the right choice? My first thought was Loretta Lynn, but they have teamed up in the past so I would probably not go with her as my choice. I thought maybe Dolly Parton or Connie Smith. Or on the flip side, Carrie Underwood or another new artist. Ideas?

I would like to see Martina do a tour with Josh Turner someday. Together they could hit most of the notes on the scale! smile.gif

Wish Tammy was still alive to sing with Martina! sad.gif

Martina with an all-time great male or female would be my preference. I wouldn't want to see Martina with someone whose been around less than her.

It would be awesome to hear Martina and Reba sing together. Either that or Carrie Underwood. It would be cool to hear Martina sing with anyone really.

I thought Martina sand with Reba on the "girls night out tour" ..but that would be cool to have it done again.

I would also like to hear her sing with more rock stars- she did very on CMT crossovers..

The new CMT Cross Country series will pair artists of different generations. This is not about choosing a duet partner. The show will premiere on Aug. 11 with Randy Travis and Josh Turner. It will be an hour long show with conversation as well as singing. Now, with this in mind, and knowing it is to feature different generations, who do you choose? I still say Carrie Underwood.........or Dolly Parton........or Connie Smith.

I think I'd like to hear Martina duet with Carrie if they go with the "newer" generations and Reba if they go with the "older" generation.

I'd really like to see Martina and Lorretta together on there! smile.gif

How far do I have to go to make you understand I wonna make this work so much it hurts, but I just can't keep on giving, go on living with the way things are so I'm gonna walk away and it's up to you to say how far.

Out of this chair, or just across the room, halfway do the block or halfway to the moon.

Her and a newcomer I would say Eric Church, Julie Roberts, Blain Larsen, Danielle Peck

her and a legend I would say Loretta Lynn, Connie Smith, Jeannie Pruit, Jean Shepard, Reba, Dolly
