I own a copy of that lists and others like it... it's for all-time thru mid-2005 or before "Rose Garden" charted for Martina.

thats great for Martina..

I just cant believe where Faith and Tricia was in the list- they had a lot of airplay for females in our markets. (All county Females except for a select few seem to get the short end of the stick on airplay up here)..

I'm very happy M is ahead of those other ladies, but the list seems a bit strange-Faith & Shania's single have both done better-they've had more Top 10's and more number 1's.

The poster posted another post a week ago, in which the 1st chart(not the one i posted) hadn t been updated in a while. He expained that Billboards came up with a points system on singles on the country chart. For instance, here what he said about Shania and Lynn Anderson for instance:

"Actually, Shania's singles on the country charts have done well but they have not accumulated enough points to get in the Top 10. Take for instance, Lynn Anderson, she charted 60 singles at #9. Shania has not charted anything close to that. Plus songs in the 50s, 60s and 70s stayed on the charts longer than from the 80s forward. "

I posted his updated chart which includes Martina, Shania and Faith. Also Reba is lot higher that in the 1st chart.

Thank you Claude!
That is pretty nice to see.

The only women on the list that I hear on the radio anymore are Faith Hill and Dixie Chicks.
