I was saddened to read that Martina's grandmother - Daryl's mom - passed away this week. Information from www.pratttribune.com. My condolences to the entire Schiff family. MEDICINE LODGE — Maxine Phyllis Schiff, 92, died Aug. 26, 2006, at Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital. She was born July 27, 1914, at Lake City. A homemaker, she lived on a farm near Sharon until moving to Medicine Lodge. Memorials may be given to Great Barber County Historical Action Association, in care of the funeral home, 120 E. Lincoln, Medicine Lodge, KS 67104. --------------------

Aww thats sad. It's a rough thing to loose a beloved grandmother. My prayers go out to Martina and her family. (Is this the grandmother she sang to on the Opry for her birthday 2ish years back?) --------------------

My condolences go out to the family! I am close to my grandma too (my dad's mom), & I can't imagine not going over for the weekly visit.

Timeless is the BEST of all the shows I've ever seen Martina do! Paying tribute to those artists literally brought tears to my eyes!! Thank-you Martina for keeping the roots of country music alive!! It just cannot get any better!

92 was a great run.......  always hard to loose grandparents and parents......hope the girls have an easy time rememberig all the good memories....and anticipating seeing her again.....I'm sure Martina is shaken pretty good.......prayers to all......hope Daryl is hanging in there.....

The 2006 Fab Four Tour was an absolute blast!!! Thank you Martina, John, the Fab Three (:D) and everyone else involved in making it such a memorable experience!!! Can't wait to do it again!! :)
