Just remembered my membership renewal is up soon and got to thinking it would be nice to have a lifetime membership option available. Don't know how much it's been thought about but I'd be in. Be kinda cool sayin I'm a "lifer"  Brad --------------------
Is the Hokey Pokey really what it's all about?

I TOTALLY forgot to renew one year (even surpassing my 3 month grace period--yikes!), so I'm one who would definitely benefit.  It'd be interesting to see how one would calculate dues for that lol, but even if it never happens, I think I'll call myself a "lifer" anyway.  --------------------
Timeless is the BEST of all the shows I've ever seen Martina do! Paying tribute to those artists literally brought tears to my eyes!! Thank-you Martina for keeping the roots of country music alive!! It just cannot get any better!

Allow me to handle this one for Tracy. There ARE a few lifetime members of the fan club. I'm one, John Staten is one, and there are a few other people. Liz gave some away as part of promotions way back when. As for offering them for purchase, it's really a no win situation. In order for the fan club not to lose money on the deal the cost would have to be quite high, as we all hope Martina is still singing and enjoying a fan club base for years and years to come. -Darren --------------------

Some persons need reminders of when their membership expires and few years ago this was on the mailing label of the news letter. Since the fc online site was established this reminder has been missing. Darren is there a way, without spending a lot of development work, that an email notice could be automatically generated when a membership is about to expire? Dean --------------------

The membership pkgs have the experation date on the mailing labels. Not sure that everyone keeps the envelope all year or not. I do, it's easier just to keep everything that comes in the pkg in it all year.

Happy Monday! I am working on sending out 30 day reminders notifying members that their membership is up for renewal - it's just something new - and we've got to figure it out... Also, not everyone has an email address - I receive numerous membership orders through snail mail and they would be left out of this loop - ugh. So...this has been on my list of things to do before this thread started - I will bump it up to the top of my list and hopefully get it going soon. Who loves ya? Tracy --------------------

Thanks Tracy - It would help - although it is up to the individual to keep up with this sort of stuff. That being said I have no idea when mine is up but I will renewing soon anyway. You are always on top of everything. --------------------

Thanks Darren and Tracy. I know it wouldn't be an easy thing to do (lifetime membership) but thought I would ask anyway. Not trying to cost the FC any money...just trying to make it easy on myself since I'll be renewing every year. Think I'll call myself a lifetime member anyway .Thanks, Brad --------------------
