I wander why Martina was not on 40 greatest albums thats too bad because she has some good ones... lately she has not been nominated for really that much. I am also dissapointed that she wasnt on there for favorite female artist.

CMT has a show called 40 Greatest Albums: http://www.cmt.com/shows/dyn/greatest_seri...6/episode.jhtml I heard about it on Carrie's board, because she commented on one of Faith's albums and I was wondering if any of Martina's albums were on the list. It's a bummer that they weren't... --------------------
The 2006 Fab Four Tour was an absolute blast!!! Thank you Martina, John, the Fab Three (:D) and everyone else involved in making it such a memorable experience!!! Can't wait to do it again!! :)

I think that it's because no one appreciates her as much as us. To them it would be Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, or old county people. To us it would be Martina McBride, Martina McBride, and well, Martina McBride! It's more of an opinion then fact... which stinks!

I started to watch the show. I'm glad I didn't finish. I cannot believe Martina wasn't in the top 40 albums. What a shame, but knowing Martina, she appreciates us fans more than 'polls'.

My question is: how prestigious is it coming from CMT??? And who decides who makes the list??? Now, if it were the CMA or ACM or a fan-based award (IMO), then I would start to worry! From what I understand, CMT (& TNN) were very instrumental at the beginning in giving an artist a big career boost by playing their videos & such (CMT still is), but as far as polling, I would be skeptical. But...that's just me.  --------------------
Timeless is the BEST of all the shows I've ever seen Martina do! Paying tribute to those artists literally brought tears to my eyes!! Thank-you Martina for keeping the roots of country music alive!! It just cannot get any better!
