Martina Interview Videos On Cmt Canada Site

Go to http://www.cmt.ca/ click on Video at the Top Right of the Screen.

Part 1 is in the Central section
Part 2 to 4 are in the Interview Section

Wrrr!!! it drives me absolutely nuts when websites don't work with browsers other than IE. I would use just about anything before I'd use that one... LOL

But anyway, I have a question: Why, why, WHY in the world did they not show the entire thing on TV??? I loved this interview!!!

The was used on the new program Totally, that was on on Monday night. Thought it was a good show and with Martina on it rocked!

Oh, that's awesome!!! I thought that CMT Central aired all that we were gonna see from this interview two weeks ago. How cool that there was more on Totally Thanks for the info!

I hate IE too. Only use it on sites that only use it.




The reason is because of time. They have only an hour a week for Central so they have to have other stuff like new videos and all of the other stuff Central has.

Yeah, well, that's an obviuos reason and kind of knew that, hehe My question was more of an expression of disappointment that we didn't get to see the whole thing on TV, hehe

I have a new Mac and you gotta love the comment returned when I click on the video:

The browser you are currently using does not appear
to meet the minimum system requirements for viewing videos through the CMT Canada Media Player.
You need a PC to access the CMT Canada Media Player. If you've got a Mac, you won't be able to watch.

Imagine that! A Mac is not up to date when it comes to video playback! Laughable!

So I need a PC running IE.
Says who? Bill Gates? Just much money is passed under the table to get CMT to insist on this?. Sorry but this is the 21st century and I won't go back.

P.S. Good thing for them that it's about Martina, so I will have to plan a visit to somewhere where they have PCs. A little roadblock like this won't keep me away...for long.

I think that is uncalled for.

Sure, CMT Media Player only works with IE but so did alot of other Internet Stream Media Players. That does not mean that they are getting bribed by Bill Gate$.
Unfortunately for the few, 95 percent of computer users are Windows users and alot of sites program for Windows and IE. CMT Canada's site works well with Firefox, just this has problems.

Have you tried IE for Macs and see if that works.

I have and old IE on my Mac but I haven't used in in ages.
Microsoft stopped supporting it when Apple introduced Safari.

My new Intel Mac can run Windows and MacOS, so I will restart it as a PC and have a look. After all, this is Martina we are talking about, and I will not be denied!

And BTW, this kind of thing—money changing— does happen. Have you seen those Visa ads about businesses that "don't take American Express". That's not by accident. It's because Visa offered incentives. I don't think Microsoft would miss an opportunity.

Regarding, incentives to business. Yes, I have seen those ads. And other business do that including Mastercard and American Express. Maybe I am wrong but I just don't think M$ "sponsoring" CMT Canada would ever happen. Just bad programming from the webmaster.
