Martina Takes Stand At Photo Shoot

There are so many things we love and admire about Martina but one of them is that I never have to worry about what kind of video or song she is going to put out that my kids may see or hear. I do not have to worry that they are going to see her slinking around in bed or on a beach somewhere practically making out. Everything is done with class and integrity and with family in mind.

I think she's probably wearing the shorts because at least one of the characters of the Thelma and Louise movie did. I honestly can't remember for sure.

Totally agree with the poster who is tired of the 'sex sells' mentality and very glad that Martina stood her ground on this. I found out about this photo shoot thing from a letter to the editor in yesterday's Tennessean titled 'Singer's boundaries
make her fans proud'

The picture of Trisha, Martina and Billy looks even better in the magazine! Everyone should buy the November issue with George Clooney on the cover!

I think some photoshop was done to a picture of Roseanne Cash and I don't think the picture of Carrie Underwood would be allowed to be posted on here.

There are many artists pictured in the country music section. Most of the pictures appear to have been taken in March 2006.

I jsut read an article about the Novemebr issue at vanityfair.com and I thought it said that the photos were done in LA in AUg 2006.

ALL RIGHT! I just got my copy and Martina is just so darn cute. Trisha looks great and billy, oh ya, guess he is there. Glad Martina stood up for her beliefs. She has so much class, its kinda sad others cant get the picture of what it really takes to become a fixture - a mainstay. Sorry that the photographer Martina stood up to is the same one that must have gotten Carrie to show some "heart stopping cleavage", she may be just to young and in need of some good old fashion what am I doing, how will it affect me and what would be the long range effect. Martina and John just seem so rock solid in values.

My favorite picture after the Trisha, Martina and Billy one is a tie between Jennifer Nettles and LeAnn Rimes.

The behind the scenes story says that Martina rode all night by bus from New York back to Nashville for the photoshoot.

It also said that Carrie Underwood's people were there at the shoot with her to make sure she didn't show to much skin.
