Martina just did a radio interview on Chicago's US-99. The DJs mainly wanted to ask her about the picture in Vanity Fair. Martina said she didn't want her daughters asking "what was going on?" when they would see the pictures or the magazine. One of the DJs said that he never sees any one at gas stations filling up their gas tank in Chicago with their shirts off. Martina's response was "Exactly!!" The DJs congratulated Martina on the FVOTY nomination and the question was asked about performing at the CMAs. Martina said that she'll sing the first cut from her new album, "Anyway". She was proud of the fact that this is the first time she's recorded a song that she co-wrote. It was written with the Warren Brothers while they were together for the TIMELESS tour. Martina said she was happy that her JOC tour kicks off in Chicago. (So am I!!) She invited eveyone to bring their kids and Gramma for the very family oriented show. Even if you've seen it before, there will be new things added. ~NJS~ --------------------

Thanks so much for all the information!! I can't wait to hear the new single!!! And I'm so excited about the fact that it was co-written by Martina and the Warren Brothers!!  Awesome!!!CMA's can't get here fast enough  And if anyone happen to come across a clip of that interview, please let us know! The 2006 Fab Four Tour was an absolute blast!!! Thank you Martina, John, the Fab Three (:D) and everyone else involved in making it such a memorable experience!!! Can't wait to do it again!! :)

Darn, I'm in Chicago and I didn't know she was on! So the new album will be called Anyway? I wonder what the significance of the title is? Yes, the show is VERY much for the whole family (took my little girl when she was 2). Of course there are some "wink, wink" moments for adults. Like the time I saw her and she sat down in a somewhat short skirt and made note of having to cross her legs because "this is a family show"! LOL! Also I remember reading how she asked one guy what he wanted for Christmas and he smiled and she said, "I know what you want-and you're NOT going to get it!" Too funny! --------------------

Cool...thanks for sharing. Can't wait to hear the new single!! I picked up the Vanity Fair issue yesterday. It's a good picture, but really who does fill up their gas tank like that?  --------------------

All the gas stations in my area are self-service. You can even pay with cash using a machine next to the gas pump.

Can't wait to hear that new song... I think it's awesome that she Co-wrote it!!! I'm proud that she once again took a stand for what she believes in. That's one of the things I admire most about her. She's a lady who carries herself with such dignity, class, and gracefulness!
