New Martina Concerts, Your Picks For Set-List

Wow! What a hard choice to make and like Pearl...I'm glad it is not my decision...but, if I were to make the choice...I would pick...My Baby Loves Me, It's My Time, I Love You (this has been a casualty before), Love's The Only House (although I like this song), and possibly WGFWGTB. I think that it may be safe to assume that Where Would You Be may go as well particularly if Martina at some point chooses to add How Far to the set list. I think she will have to give up one of the more vocally challenging songs if she is to add that one. And, I think Broken Wing has a better chance of staying in the set than WWYB....IMO. But again, ultimately the choice is hers. I think she will also cut out some of the space that she allows for requests...so who knows, we'll find out soon though. My set list: (in no particular order) Happy Girl In My Daughter's Eyes Wild Angels (being this was her first #1, I think it will stay) Over The Rainbow So Magical God's Will How Far Blessed Concrete Angel Reluctant Daughter This One's For The Girls Broken Wing/Where Would You Be (one or the other would be fine with me..lol) Valentine Wearing White Show Me Learning To Fall Harper Valley PTA Encore: Independence Day Whatever You Say --------------------

After checking all of my Martina CD's I found the song "Good-by". I actually forgot about that song but do know which one it is. Yes, quite a deep meaning and maybe that is why Martina chose to not release it as a single. It is very good!

I wouldn't be able to pick songs to cut from her concerts. I really think that she should sing some of her recent songs though. I would love to hear.... 1. So Magical 2. Wearing White 3. Shes a Butterfly One of my favortie songs she sings when I see Martina in concert is "Harper Valley PTA." I love hearing Martina's version of that song. Thanks.  Daryl --------------------

Instead of leaving off some of her hit songs, why couldn't she do a medley (verse & chorus into a verse & chorus of another song, then another, then another, etc...)...maybe 6 or 7 songs in a row? That way, noone would be upset they didn't hear their favorite M song and she could make room for the new ones. Alot of your big artists with a long, fruitful career do it...why not Martina? She surely fits the mold of a "long, fruitful career."
