Full Version: My Little Philly Trip
Martinaville > Martinaville > Photo Room
Tom in Virginia
So I decide to take the old scooter for a two day cruise and I head up Philly way to do some visiting.
Naturally, I stop for some pretzels on the way out of town.

The sign in the window of the shop next door catches my eye.

Have a look and see why -->

Dude! My name's in the window! lol

It'd be cooler if it said Get Off Me Face though!

Yes Ma'am. it is!

I was half expecting the shopkeeper to storm through the door and shout that very thing at me as I trained my camera on the place (which is after all a most unlikely place for a photo shoot).

Touchdown Buffalo! Oops wrong topic! LOL

Anyway, I knew this wasn't gonna be just another pic of randomness.

I wonder what I can find to eat on my birthday at that place? j/k

Well, considering it's in the heart of Northeast Philly, you can't go wrong with the cheese steak.
Wonder if they deliver to Martinaville. unsure.gifIt does say "Delivery" in the window.

Not to worry, Kristen.

That just means that you had some bogus concoction that was called a cheese steak.
Just like folks who get something called "soft pretzels" in the mall or at a ballgame. Not the real thing.

I remember those soft pretzels that you buy in the freezer section in the grocery store. I believe we still carry those. I haven't had one of them forever lol.

Wrong again Kristen! laugh.gif
Real soft preztels are baked daily and must be eaten within 8 hours.
There are no preservatives; they cannot be frozen to eat another day. (Although that's better than throwing them away.)
