I was at that Fan Fair booth!! It was about 100 degrees that day. Does she look it? Of course not!

Not normally a really short hair fan unless the person can pull the look off, but Martina's hair looks so cute in that first pic!

thanks for the correction, Tom. I lost all my pictures from that year's 'fan club event', as it was called, so I don't have all the years for each pictures I have been able to find. This one had 99 on it, from somebody else, so I was just going by what they had. yeah, it was really hot that day. I remember Martina had to stoop down behind the counter in order to get some water and take a break. The people behind me didn't see what she did, and asked, "WHere'd Martina go!!??". Poor thing, she was sweating (perspiring/glowing, whatever you want to say) and exhausted. It was really humid too! Ah, memories!

Yesh. I remember going outside to cool off, since it was only 95 out there! It was really tough on the artists to have to do 2 or 4 hours at a stretch. I remember at one point Suzanne said that the look on Martina's face made her look a little irritated or impatient. Easy to see why that might happen!

And by the way, I have pics of her wearing the same outfit from 2000, so I'm guessing she didn't wear the same thing two years in a row. That's why I said 2000. Also, I see the LTOH house behind her. (That was the LTOH year, wasn't it?)
