Greetings to Martina fans world-wide!
MARTINA ATTENDED MY WEDDING!!!
Well, not in person, but certainly in spirit. The priest actually
agreed to allow a couple of Martina's songs (The Rope & When You Are
Old) to be played in the church during the seating of guests. That is
testimony to the quality of her music and her message!
"When You Are Old" was "our song" for the wedding and had everyone in
tears at the reception.
Martina, if you are reading this, thank you, from the bottom of my
heart. You're the best!

What a wonderful job you are doing with the Martina
Digest! I look forward to hearing the latest news on Martina
and comments from the other fans. A very GOOD thing!!
Last week I lost my grandmother after she suffered with
Alzheimers Disease just over 10 years. I took my "Amazing
Grace" - A Country Salute To Gospel CD with me. I gave it to
the owners of the funeral home. They placed in on continous
play for the entire visitation. I think I heard Martina sing
"How Great Tho Art" a few times, and that was one of the 3
songs I selected for the funeral services. I was lucky that
the church had a very talented soloist sing this beautiful song.
But, the CD is truly amazing, and I would of never dreamt that
it would mean so very much to me to hear these songs at such
a very sad time in my life. I'd recommend this CD to anyone
that enjoys Martina and her truly gifted vocal abilities.

Hey Fellow Martina fans,
I read today in the Associated Press wires that Martina's doing a
benefit concert on December 15th for the Opry Performer's Fund. Also
taking the stage at the Ryman Auditorium will be Ricky Skaggs, Jeannie
Seely, Steve Wariner, Willie Cooper and Porter Wagoner.

Thanks to everyone for submitting! It just goes to show that Martina's
music has touched a lot of lives, and can bring you through the good times
and the bad. My condolences to Connie and her family, I also have a
grandmother who is suffering from Alzheimers, so I know what you went
through.
