From performance clothes to stuffed animals, superstars Martina McBride, Gretchen Wilson, Kenny Chesney, Brooks & Dunn, Alan Jackson, Cowboy Troy and many others are donating items to be auctioned off on eBay through the non-profit organization Celebrity Rags 4 Charity Riches. All proceeds from the one-of-a-kind items will be directed to the Animal Hurricane Fund. This organization is doing vital work in raising funds for the rescue and relief of animals affected by the gulf coast hurricanes. “This Rags4Riches auction is a win-win program,” says President Cynda Johnson. “The auction provides a way for fans to shop for Holiday gifts and still support hurricane relief efforts. The winning bidder receives a one-of-a-kind item and the artist knows the item is in the hands of someone who will really cherish it.” Martina McBride, Shooter Jennings, Joaquin Phoenix, Alison Krauss, Kris Kristofferson, Jerry Lee Lewis, Norah Jones, Kid Rock, Jessi Colter & Dennis Quaid have signed the cover of a complete working script of the television project, “ I WALK THE LINE: A NIGHT FOR JOHNNY CASH”. Some of the other items at auction include a signed guitar from Kenny Chesney. Brooks & Dunn sent a guitar too – along with a great, signed tour jacket. Barbara Mandrell has written a note to the winning bidder of a fabulous gown from her closet. Gretchen Wilson offered a pair of her signature blue jeans. Jamie O’Neal has donated an incredible pair of hand-made, hand-painted boots that you don’t have to be a fan to love! Cowboy Troy and Rick Trevino each signed a boot from a pair of cowboy boots from the Wildhorse Saloon. Buddy Jewell donated a pair of jeans and a pair of well-loved boots. Joe Nichols, Tracy Lawrence, Terri Clark , Joe Diffie and Miranda Lambert have sent several treasures from their performance wardrobes. Signed handwritten lyrics, sheet music, posters, CD’s & stuffed animals from Martina McBride, Faith Hill, Alan Jackson, Billy Ray Cyrus, The Highwaymen, Delbert McClinton, Montgomery Gentry and many other favorite celebrities will also be available at the auction.
