A&E TO AIR MARTINA BIOGRAPHY ON CHRISTMAS MORNING!! Posted on Friday, December 23, 2005 The A&E Network will be airing the new Martina Biography at 4AM Eastern Time Christmas Morning, a perfect time for all you night owls or early risers. The real premier for the episode will be in 2006, but this airing will allow the network a shot at an Emmy or any other television award for the 2005 calendar year. From A&E: Martina McBride -- Airs on Sunday, December 25 at 4:00am ET Martina Mariea Schiff of Sharon, Kansas cut her musical teeth playing in a local band led her father. By the time she finished high school, she was singing and playing keyboards with them as well as other local bands. After marrying soundman, John McBride, Martina and her new husband moved to Nashville where she worked as a back up singer on demos. She also worked on her own demo tape, which John produced. One year later, McBride had a contract with RCA and was on tour with Garth Brooks. Her first album stumbled, but in 1993, McBride began to enjoy the fruits of her labor. Since then, she's continued to rack up hits and winning among other awards, no less than four CMA female vocalist of the year citations. Back To News Page
