MARTINA TO PERFORM ON GOOD MORNING AMERICA

Christmas is coming early this year for Martina McBride! Her latest single, "Anyway", is currently number 17 on the country aircheck chart and 19 on the Radio & Record chart after just five weeks. Her most recent release is the fastest rising single of her illustrious career since 2000. A mix of robust vocals and raw, unabashed emotion, "Anyway" is an emotional hit that echoes encouragement despite some of life's challenges. "Anyway" also marks Martina's songwriting debut. She penned the powerful ballad with fellow country artists, The Warren Brothers. Martina captivates the listener once again with her latest musical treat.

"I'm happy that this song has struck a chord with my fans. It's about believing in the bigger picture and realizing that we may not always know the plan for us, but we have the abliltiy as human beings to see the good side and to have hope no matter what. We all need to feel that there is hope, especially in today's world. This song just encourages us to keep loving and giving and believing even when things don't work out the way we planned." Martina said.

Martina is slated to perform two of her holiday hits from her White Christmas album on ABC's Good Morning America on December 18th. Her second performance on the top-rated morning program comes hot on the heels of her 2006 "Joy of Christmas" tour debut. Following shows in the Southeast and Midwest, Martina takes her critically-acclaimed holiday tour to the Northeast for her final performances, wrapping up the tour in New York on December 22nd.

The beautiful country songstress is nominated for a 2007 Grammy for "Best Female Country Vocal Performance" for "I Still Miss Someone" off her platinum-selling Timeless album. This is her 10th Grammy nomination. Martina also appears on the cover of the December 18, 2006 edition of Country Weekly. She discusses her favorite Christmas memories as a child as well as with her own children. The issue is on newsstands now.

Martina McBride's powerhouse voice has earned her more than 16 million in album sales, garnered six No.1 hits; 20 Top 10 singles and a mantle of honors, including a record tying four CMA Female Vocalist of the Year trophies.
