Hello everyone, welcome to the latest edition of Martina's mailing list!  Along with the new format of these mailings we're going to be changing a few other things as well. Starting next week we will be sending these newsletters out regularly on every other Monday.  This will get us on a regular schedule so you know when to expect a mailing and allow us to try a few new things.  Of course if there is breaking news that is time sensitive we will send out an extra mailing as needed. Starting next week Martina's Director of Fan Relations Tracy Weaver will have a regular spot in these mailings to bring you the latest fan club news, contest information and more. MARTINA WANTS YOU TO "GET WITH THE PROGRAM" Fans going to any of Martina's next four shows will want to be sure to check out the merchandise tables for a chance at a pair of meet and greet passes with Martina that night before her show. As part of a new promotion, random copies of Martina's Official Tour Book will be sold, containing a pair of meet and greet passes for the show that night. Two pairs of passes will be given away, allowing 4 lucky fans the chance of a lifetime to meet Martina, get an autograph and have a picture taken with her. The shows in Hartford, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Washington DC will test this new promotion and if all goes well it could become a regular thing on Martina's tours. Tee-Cee Bailey, Martina's Merchandise Manager, said that Martina came up with this idea herself as a way to be able to connect with a few lucky fans at every show. So, if you're heading to a Martina show in the next couple of weeks, look for the banners and the merchandise tables for more information. The lucky programs will be inserted so that they're sold before the first act comes on (approximately 7:30 pm) so be sure to get there early for the best chance to meet Martina!
