I can't believe that it's going off the air. This is just the worst possible thing for TV. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/angry.gif)

ANd the strangest thing is that they are promising and advertising a great and memorable series finale.
Funny, since only two weeks ago the negotiations for another season were , allegedly, still ongoing.
Did they come up with a new Finale script and call everyone back in for a taping?

Cordially,

Tom

Lauren Graham has been very public with the facts. She also has also expressed her views about how the show would end. She does not want a "cliche" ending like a wedding ect...

They knew that this was a possibility, so the finale was written in such a way that it would serve as either a season or series finale.

I personally think that its a good job that the show is ending. I mean i have been an avid fan of the show since the beginning!! I am a total hardcore fan! But imo the writing was beginning to dry up a little and I think it better that they end it on a high instead of going into an eighth season and runing it. Cauz I personally think that it hasn't been the same since the Pallindinos left!

But I will miss my weekly GG fix!

What did y'all think of the episode last night? At my house I am the winner, I told them what her answer would be. It was exactly why too. I can't believe what Logan did though. And I was just starting to like him again! The previews for the finale were interesting. Can't wait!! I also can wait though because it is the last new episode. Does anyone have a favorite episode? I would say mine is the one where Rory puts together the dinner for Dean and she dresses like she is in the fifties. I just went through the first four seasons and can't find it on the website but it is definetly my favorite. SHe cooks and "old-fashioned" dinner for him. I like it. Anyone else have favorites?

One I remember liking rather well was the one where Max proposed and filled up the place (the Independence Inn, IIRC) with flowers. Always thought Lorelai and Max should have been together.

I am going to be a mess next Tuesday. I do understand why they're ending it now, I just wish they hadn't strung us along and led us to believe it would come back.

I don't know if I like Rory's decision...it just seems so sudden...

I think I have about 153 favorite episodes (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I hope the finale brings it as full circle as they say. That would be weird to tape the finale NOT KNOWING whether it was a season or series finale. But I just hope it turns out well. And I hope it gets a lot of recognition. I mean, I know it's not Friends or Seinfeld or something, I just hope it gets some acknowledgement. 7 years of quality TV on one show is hard to come by. And GG certainly supplied it. It was consistent, wholesome TV. It deserves a good send off.

I'm gonna miss my Girls!!!

That would have been the episode "That Damn Donna Reed". That was a good one. My favorite was probably "Vineyard Valentine"! It was pretty good, minus Logan.

And as for it ending, I saw this coming. It wasn't a suprise to me, but I'm still sad because it's my show ya know? Lol, I'll miss them so much!

I have to say that I wasn't a Max fan. I'm hardcore Luke and Lorelai now! Lorelai never really loved Max and that's why. He was a good guy, she just didn't love him.

On the ellen show the other day Lauren said that they taped the final show but didn't know that it was the final show untill later on.

I like the Gilmore Girls, but like 7th Heaven, its run its course. When the episodes start to get flat out stupid, its time to pull the plug. With that said; 7th Heaven should've been cut about 4 years ago.

I'm SOOOOOO sad its ending....its my favorite show. UH 4 of my shows ended this year. Gilmore Girls, Reba, The OC and 7th Heaven (even though I hated it the past few years...I still had to watch just because Ive watched it from the begining). But the other 3 all killed me. The finale tomorrow is going to be so sad. I'll have to tape it of course since I will be watching the ACM Awards!!

I get a little teary every time I see the commercial for tonight's episode. By the time the show is over, I'll be a mess. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I love Gilmore Girls, it's the only show on TV that I just can't stand to miss, and now it's over.

And to make me even more annoyed, Comcast sent a message today telling us that as of Wednesday, the day AFTER the finale, the CW will finally be offered in HD around here. Grrr! Ever since we got the new TV and the HD channels to go with it after Christmas, I've wanted to be able to get the CW in HD to see GG in all its glory, and NOW they finally decide to add it (the station started broadcasting in HD last fall, over the air) but a day too late to even see the finale! Stupid Comcast! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Arghh its on tonight over is your neck of the woods, which means I can get it tomorrow! Im kinda excited cauz I wanna see how its ends Lauren Graham said that its a nice ending to finish the show.

SPOILER

Just founds this from spoilerfix so dont read if you don't wanna know.

"It ends with a shot that mirrors the closing shot of the pilot, which really represents the show. It's Lorelai and Rory sitting in the diner talking about really nothing. Just having a moment together."

And also Christiane Amanpour, Rory's inspiration is in it too!

OMG i can't wait to see it now!!

I teared up. I didn't actually bawl, because it ended on such a GREAT note, and some parts were just too hilarious to cry during, but I'm so sad it's over!

Everything was just... perfect. I loved it. And I noticed Amy Sherman-Palladino was an executive producer for this episode! Thought that was very cool. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
