John,

Thanks for the nice note. I did love the show. She has the most amazing voice. I really believe that you have to hear her live to appreciate just how great her voice is. Modern recordings just don't capture it.

Have a nice day....

Rosa

Subject: Fantastic Article on Martina..............

I grew up in North Central Pa, but have been away in the Pacific Northwest (Vancouver, Washington) for the past 40 years – that said I was so thrilled to see the fantastic article you wrote on Martina’s concert. My wife (of 38 years) and myself are huge Martina fans – IMO - she is the greatest entertainer today….and one that has her priorities straight – family, God, country, her music and close friends……maybe a bit corny – but that’s the way she is…..

Now your review – I have to admit that it must be tough attending concerts – some of which I’m sure you have to “endure” rather than enjoy…..but it appeared to me that you truly loved that concert…..and your article showed us that. I might add that it is being referenced on the Martina Fan club site……

Thanks so much for the review and taking the time, even though it’s your job – to do a 1st class professional article that showed class, passion and insight. Very uncommon in today’s papers……congratulations….and go Steelers! I did my undergraduate work in Forestry from Penn State in the 60’s – so I can’t say go PITT!
