Subject: Easter is VERY early this year!

As you may have wondered, Easter is always the 1st Sunday after the
1st full moon after the Spring Equinox (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) (which is March 20). This
dating of Easter is based on the lunar calendar that Hebrew people
used to identify Passover, which is why it moves around on our
Roman calendar.

Found out a couple of things you might be interested in! Based on
the above, Easter can actually be one day earlier (March 22) but
that is pretty rare.

Here's the interesting info. This year is the earliest Easter any
of us will ever see the rest of our lives! And only the most
elderly of our population have ever seen it this early (95 years
old or above!). And none of us have ever, or will ever, see it a
day earlier! Here's the facts:

1) The next time Easter will be this early (March 23) will be the
year 2228 (220 years from now).
The last time it was this early was
1913 (so if you're 95 or older, you are the only ones that were
around for that!).

2) The next time it will be a day earlier, March 22, will be in the
year 2285 (277 years from now). The last time it was on March 22
was 1818. So, no one alive today has or will ever see it any
earlier than this year!

Subject: Double Spaceship Flybys

This will be pretty exciting! (Maybe not as exciting as the scene if the Navy missile succeeds in shooting down that errant satellite but still good!)
Look for the double flyby if you are out tomorrow night. If you miss this, images will be on the Spaceweather.com site.

Space Weather News for Feb. 17, 2008
SpaceWeather.com -- News and information about meteor showers, solar flares, auroras, and near-Earth asteroids

DOUBLE FLYBY: If all goes according to plan, space shuttle Atlantis will undock from the International Space Station (ISS) on Monday morning, Feb. 18th, at approximately 4:30 am EST. This is good news for sky watchers across North America who will be able to witness a rare double flyby on Monday evening. Atlantis and the ISS will appear as a tight pair of lights, as bright as Jupiter or Venus, gliding in tandem across the twilight sky--an unforgettable sight. Favored cities include Los Angeles, New Orleans, Dallas, Jackson (MS), Pensacola, Philadelphia, Reno, San Diego and others. Double flybys continue on Tuesday, Feb 19th, albeit not as tight because the shuttle will be moving away from the ISS as it prepares to land on Wednesday, Feb. 20th.

You can receive telephone and email alerts when the spacecraft are about to fly over your backyard by subscribing to Spaceweather PHONE (Spaceweather PHONE) or look for flyby timetables at Heavens Above (Welcome to Heavens-Above). And should you miss the event, visit SpaceWeather.com -- News and information about meteor showers, solar flares, auroras, and near-Earth asteroids for images and movies.

Mad at the greedy oil companies AND the Middle EAST!!!!!!!!!!!! These are a beautiful car...........and NO FUEL (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) right now they are $$$$ BUT - tell me electric isn't the wave of the future - AND with a RANGE in excess of 200 MILES at 2 cents - YES that's RIGHT TWO CENTS per MILE!!!!! Tesla Motors

Acceleration & Torque
Instant Freedom

How powerful is the acceleration? A quick story to illustrate. A favorite trick here at Tesla Motors is to invite a passenger along and ask him to turn on the radio. At the precise moment we ask, we accelerate. Our passenger simply can't sit forward enough to reach the dials. But who needs music when you're experiencing such a symphony of motion.

How far can the Tesla Roadster drive between charges?

Actual range depends on driving style and conditions. During testing of prototypes cars, Tesla Motors has seen between 170 miles per charge for very spirited driving to 267 miles per charge for city driving that makes use of the Roadster's regenerative braking. Our most recent EPA driving cycle tests, conducted November 26-30, 2007, at an EPA-certified facility, resulted in the following numbers:

230 mi EPA city
211 mi EPA highway
221 mi EPA combined (city/highway
