What is the next concert that you are going to? For me it is Sugarland, Little Big Town and Jake Owen on November 15. Tickets go on sale tomorrow. I can't wait for this show, I know it is going to be great. I don't know who I am more excited to see, Sugarland or LBT.

HOPEFULLY The Killers for the third time next Friday. It's VERY unlikely because it's in a club (with only 500 capacity!!!) an hour away, and I need a guardian to get in since I'm not 18 yet, but I'm still hoping.

If not that, then I'm thinking Regina Spektor on November 15th, if my parents let me go. She's one of the people I MUST see before I die. And tickets are so cheap too. biggrin.gif

For me it is Sugarland, Little Big Town and Jake Owen on November 15.

I saw Sugarland in April. They were so much fun. Very energetic. Jennifer Nettles is hilarious and her accent is so strong! smile.gif

I think there are three categories of singers: those who sound better recorded than live, those who sound even better live than recorded, and those who are so on top of their game that they sound virtually the same in either situation (without lip-synching, of course). I think Sugarland is in the last category.

I would absolutely love to see LBT in concert, so I am jealous about that! You'll have to fill us in on all the details.

I am seeing Travis Tritt tomorrow night and Josh Turner next Saturday night. I love this time of year. The fair comes to town and we get to see some really great performers for a really cheap price!

YES PLEASE DO!

--------------------
5/6/06 Greenbay,wi (Timeless concert)
Sept 8th Harris,Mi (Waking Up Laughing Concert)I saw her in the Gift Shop!

(Chorus:)
God is great, but sometimes life ain't good
When I pray it doesn't always turn out like I think it should
But I do it anyway
I do it anyway

This world's gone crazy and it's hard to believe
That tomorrow will be better than today
Believe it anyway
You can love someone with all your heart
For all the right reasons
And in a moment they can choose to walk away
Love 'em anyway

(Repeat Chorus)

You can pour your soul out singin'
A song you believe in
That tomorrow they'll forget you ever sang
Sing it anyway
Yeah sing it anyway

I sing
I dream
I love anyway

Loretta Lynn on October 12th, keith Urban on Nov. 2nd, & Brad Paisley on the last day of his tour (featuring Taylor and Rodney) on Nov. 17th! Then I'm not sure until after the holidays...we'll see what comes up. smile.gif I know for sure it's Fan Fair in June of 2008, but that's too far off to even mention now. wink.gif

I'm trying to talk my Dad into going to Keith Urban with me in November, but I don't know if that's going to happen yet... I want to see Sugarland too, but I think I'm going to have to wait since there @ a college campus 2 1/2 hrs away and I'm pretty sure anyone I'd go with is working.

In 2008, Martina for sure if she's back near IL again, Kenny Chesney and here's to hoping for CMA Music Fest..possibly another Vegas show depending on who's there if we go this year.

Beyond that, I have no idea...whatever comes up that is affordable, less than 3 hours or so and there's no prior committments going on.

--------------------

Springfield, IL -- 8/17/07 -- My 1st Martina concert!! Absolutely Awesome!!
Moline, IL -- 9/29/07

Chicago, IL -- 10/22/03 -- Shania Up! World Tour
Las Vegas, NV -- 8/13/04 -- Faith Hill @ Caesars Collesium

Next week I'll be seeing a Canadian singer Amanda Marshall at Casino Rama. If I get lucky, I might get a ticket to see Led Zeppelin in England next month, but that is quite a long shot. But I did get to see martina two weeks ago at both shows in Niagara Falls.

Nothing planned for me but I am more of a Summer concert guy due to bad weather in the NE.

I'd love to go see Kid Rock again but his tour is not coming anywhere close to me. After seeing him on Larry King this week, The K-I-D went way up in my book!

I was thinking about going to Sugarland/LBT as they are coming to "The 6-0-7" which is unheard of anymore. ( a big country act coming to "The 6-0-7 that is"). But for some reason I have lost interest in Sugarlland and I'm not quite sure why. I still like them but my interest in them has gone down some. Maybe because I'm not overly smitten with the last 2 singles I'd guess. But LBT has gone way up in my book.

I'll probably be sorry that I decided not to go in the future.
