Today Reba.com posted the official press release stating the terrific news that Reba will once again be hosting this year's ACM Awards...her tenth time doing it!

I love Reba and I love her as host for this show...there is no one better and it just wouldn't be the same without her, so I'm very excited for this news!

There is no other who could even come close to the wit, beauty, charm (and even authority) of Reba for an event like this!

I am glad the producers realize this.\

Can't wait to see what she wears this year. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) Sounds funny, I know. But for some reason I can't help but notice that her outfits are always stunning.

I'm unsure about that too. But I get the sense that Martina is a singer and not comfortable as a talker or comedienne.
Many very popular stars over the years, in music, TV, movies, have tried their hand at award shows and fallen flat.

And this is why love the ACM's so much more. Nobody does a better job than the Queen (ooops... hope Aretha isn't reading this... she'll get upset! ) And if my boy Vince doesn't want his gig back as host of the CMA's, she should take over for them, too... cause things are falling apart in that department, IMO!

Martina has always said that when she sits down for an interview, she gets serious and her funny side doesnt show.. She is very funny though.. I guess she has to have a sense of humor living with John!! LOL!!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
I think it would be so awesome if she hosted some kind of award show. But I dont really see her doing it anytime soon. IMO.

Martina was co-host of the TNN Music City News. I know Marty Stuart was one of the co-hosts but can't remember who the other guy was. It was probably around 1996 but I can't remember exactly the year either. I do remember that it was a long time ago.
