This isn't so odd, as many cover bands will throw in a couple songs by other artists with a similar sound.

I am assuming the "Martina giveaways" will just be her CDs. What else go a local band have to give away?

Anyway, just thought this was interesting!

Believe it or not the lead singer of this band joined Martinaville last week. She goes under the name of PATGIRL and posted about her covering IMDEs which I thought was really cool!

As far as what the Martina giveaways are concerned I am pretty sure she knows Pat so maybe the those giveaways are coming via Pat!

I am just speculating on what the giveaways are. Battlefield is the "Officially Recognized Benatar Tribute Band of the Midwest" so I gotta figure she knows Pat. After reading JDM's post yesterday you never know what is going on with Martina and Pat.

I just PMd the lead singer of Battlefield so maybe she will answer that question here herself.

I found her old posts by putting PATGIRL in the search here. They are in the Main Room under what I believe is a recent Crossroads topic. I know she posted under a 2nd topic but I cannot remember what that topic is offhand.

I was wondering if any there are any Martina fans, who are not in the chicago area, who would be interested in viewing the BATTLEFIELD performace of IMDE?

I take all of the photos for the band, and will be arranging to have the entire show video taped. If there is enough interest, we can arrange to have the IMDE portion available via the internet.

Of course if you are in the local area you should come on out to Shark City and see it live! Battlefield always puts on a great show! Not to mention they are always full of surprises!
