Have To Go To Chicago For More Knee Injections

I have to drive up to Chicago in the morning for the 2nd of 3 injections in both knees, I had them last Wednesday also. It helped my left knee, but it actually made my right one worse. My right knee is the really bad one, I have had 5 open surgeries on it and it will most likely need to be replaced. It just keep hurting and swelling from walking on it. Of course shoveling and even snowblowing all of the snow does not help it at all. We got another 5 inches last night bring our total for the season to about 55 inches. I know that other places have had a lot more than that, Madison, WI is at about 90 inches so far for the season. It is getting to be really annoying.

Deer

I was sitting at the computer and looked out the window and saw 3 deer walking around in the neighbors driveway and front yard. There was 1 big doe and 2 yearlings. We see them fairly often around here but usually on the sides of the road, not in the subdivision. We live right accross the street from the woods that make up part of the Joliet Army Ammunition Plant property where the army still trains, so there are a lot of deer and wild turkeys along with a lot of coyotes.

Our digital camera stopped working for whatever reason, we just get squiggly lines in the view screen, so we did not get any pictures last night. I guess we will have to use the money we get from our tax refund to buy a new one. The other thing about last night was it snowed about 5 inches before the concert and the roads were not that good. If you go to Lady Antebellums website you can see a video from yesterday when they were driving in the snow. It was nice of Martina to let the girl from the audience come up to sing Valentine with her on stage.

We're just leaving for the Martina concert in Champaign, IL. We will post when we get home, but it is 2 hours each way so others will most likely post before us. This will be our 64th Martina concert.

Cubs Tickets

I was able to get the best tickets to a Cubs game this morning! They went on sale online and over the phone at 10:00AM (CST). I started to call from both my cell phone and the house phone right at 10:00 and I got through on my cell phone at 10:04,I was shocked that I got through so quick and easy. Now for the best part, I asked for the best available seats for the Cubs vs. Pirates on 5/18/08 as it is the day after my wife graduates with her teaching degree, I was able to get section 24,Row 7, which is RIGHT BEHIND HOME PLATE!!! We have never sat that close before. It is on the visitors side but so what!
