Don't you just hate viruses? I just had to wipe out everything I had stored in my computer because some music I got (probably from iTunes) had a virus in it! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/angry.gif) All my pics and music are gone. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Ashley Monroe No Longer With Sony

I know we have some people that are fans of Ashley Monroe, and I figured I'd give those fans an update on her. This was posted on her MySpace page:


So sorry to have kept you waiting ... alot has been changing in my world!!

But it's all for the best. I am no longer on Sony. They were kind enough to let me out of my deal and I am very thankful to them for all of their hard work... but I HAVE TO GET MUSIC OUT TO YOU GUYS HUH??!?! I couldn't wait any longer!! Even though my first original album won't be released ( I know ... I'm bummed too.. I put my heart into it).. I am writing like a crazy person.. songs that wake me up in my sleep.. songs that for the first time since I wrote my record .. are making me cry and touching my soul the way music should!! Although I don't currently have a label.. my whole team and I are trying to figure out a way to get at least some music on my site that's new and you can buy!!!

Some more great news!! I just got a DOUBLE PLATINUM record for writing "Flat on the Floor" (with Brett James) on Carrie Underwood's new album "Carnival Ride"... I am so thankful to have gotten on that album.. she is really great.

I appreciate all of the encouragement and sweet comments from you guys.. I read them every day.. Don't give up on me.. haha.. I'm FAR FROM OVER.. I'm just getting started.. I am soooo excited about this upcoming year..So many wonderful things are in the works and I can't wait to tell you all about them as they happen!!

For now know I am HAPPY, I am optimistic and thankful for all the oportunities that have been given to me so far.. and I can't wait to get back to my roots and make the music that was put in my heart to make.

Prayers Please

I would love it if everyone could pray for me and my family. To make a long story short, I have a relative in Florida who's not doing so good, and may not live. She had bloodwork done on Monday and it showed her kidneys were shutting down. And doctors found blood in her stool. So far nobody knows for sure what's wrong, but whatever it is is very, very serious, for the kidneys to be shutting down. Up until now she's been a healthy woman for her age.

I Witnessed My 1st Car Accident

OK I'm driving home from work the other day (Tuesday), and I'm at a red light, with 2 cars ahead of me, a smaller car and what looked from the back like an SUV. Before the light changes, the little car right in front of me zooms right up to the car in front of them, and rear ends the big car. I heard and saw it, and thank God it was minor, with what looked like only a little bit of damage to the SUV's license plate holder as they passed me doing 1 of those Michigan turns. But it scared me and shook me up, even though I wasn't involved.
