April 29th will be a big spending day for me. Both Martina and Madonna's CD come out that day. Than I got to wait a couple months before Bev's CD is released.

Ok, I talked to the guys over at Country On-Demand and they said that the tracklisting has been updated, but no new songs have been added. I know weird just hang with me. They've released the sell-sheet and the tracklist is noted to NOT BE FINALIZED. So, more tracks may be announced!! The guy I talked to said that Martina's label isn't ready to say anything just yet, but just hold tight. So I would keep checking back and I'll post any news here too.

It is mid-March. I think it is a bit odd that the label has not said anything yet given that in 5 weeks the CD will be on the market...


Let me guess - we need to be patient and wait for more information?

Have anybody an official announcement when the CD release?

I think everyone needs to just relax a little bit here. Everybody has been pushing for a live CD or DVD for years now and we are getting one. Now "its not long enough" or it "doesn't have the right songs on it". I don't believe the track listing being shown is set in stone so lets just wait and see. If you remember before 'Timeless' was released, the information on the number of tracks varied constantly so I really don't see the point in getting all bent out of shape over what is being reported.
I'm just sayin'.

Just speculation, but perhaps she may have an agreement/contract with PBS on this. Maybe they can't release any info until the run of PBS shows is over...just a thought....

I'm patient, I can wait. Anticipation is half the fun (but boy I am planning on buying about 5 copies when it does come out!)!...

One thing that does seem odd to me is that there is no CD with the $100 pledge from PBS. It is just the DVD. Different package?

I'm thrilled! Who cares if there are only eight songs on the live CD? The ones they chose to put on there are great, especially to have two "bonus" songs that are not on the DVD..."From the Ashes" and "Whatever You Say."

Plus, the REAL gem here is a complete Martina concert that we can save forever and watch again and again!

I think we are all super happy about the CD/DVD. If the set list is correct, the selections couldn't be any better! Martina listened to her fans and we got exactly what we have hoped for. Thanks Martina !! And to get this fabulous live music from the best vocal performance concert ever recorded. What a deal for around 20 bucks and it will be available on Apr29-May6. WOW, will this be a hot seller!! That is only 6 weeks away.

I think the whole point here is that she's seen us here asking for a live concert dvd for years, and she has responded with one. The short cd part is just a bonus, with songs we don't ordinarily get to hear her do anymore. Plus it looks like it will be very reasonably priced when compared with many other artists.

It doesn't rule out the possibility of an official live cd release in the future either. Until then, like has been mentioned, it's fairly easy to make your own cd from the dvd.

I'm thrilled that soon I'll be able to go to my dvd cabinet and pull out an officially released, full length Martina concert. As opposed to the various bootleg ones I already have.....

Nay, we did the right thing. The PBS DVD is slightly different and it was for a good cause, and besides this concert is way too special not to own every piece of legal media produced from it. For me and Elaine it is very very special - she got "the ring" during the concert. Hey - I forgot to check my mail - maybe the pbs DVD arrived today :-

I couldn't find one either and I'm usually pretty good on googlle'ing and yahoo'ing search. I wonder how web stores can have a pre-order if there is nothing officially announced about it ? fye.com seems to have the best pre-order price at $18.95, buy.com price is $19.98, amazon.com is $24.98.
I also wonder if martina-mcbride.com will have a pre-order link?
