You should register. It’s crazy fast, and you’ll get access to all sorts of cool stuff. If you already have a ground(ctrl) account for another artist, you can link them to this one and use the same login for both!
Your display name is what other people know you as. It’s shown on your profile and anywhere your avatar appears, like in comments and friends lists.
