Hey everyone,
My name is Megan. I rarely do check this board because of how hetitic my schedule is, but just wondering 'What is your favorite holiday?' Also 'Why that holiday?' (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

My favorite holiday is Easter. Reason that it is Easter is that I am a christian by heart and believe that Jesus rose from the dead on that day. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Christmas for me. It's a good time to be with the family and the true meaning of Christmas is to celebrate the the birth of Jesus.

Christmas - I enjoy spending time with my family, and also helping the less forture at that time. It's a time where everyone is a little nicer to each other.

Christmas--lights, time for having good times with the family and just knowing the whole true meaning of Christmas, with Christs' birth.

4th of July. Brings back so many memories - family bbq's, watching the fireworks that night, the parade...

Other: MLK Day!

No, I'm kidding. I am seriously what you would call a Christmasholic. I pretty much live for the Christmas atmosphere. Heck, I've even been listening to Christmas music a bit recently! I just think it's a wonderful time to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Second would be either Easter or 4th of July. Easter's amazing because we celebrate Jesus' resurrection, and I love celebrating that. I really get in the mood to listen to Sacred songs around that time. 4th of July is just FUN. Love BBQ's, watching the Fireworks... hearing how fast the Peachtree Road Race was won. I went ahead and chose Christmas just so I could vote, but I really honestly can't decide between Christmas and Halloween. It's great to visit family and stuff during Christmas, and I love all the decorations and putting up the tree and everything. But I also love the creativety that goes into decorating for Halloween. My friends and I always have a costume party, and I love making our house look spooky for the trick-or-treaters. I also love the weather around Halloween time as it starts to cool and the leaves change. I just love the whole atmosphere of that time of year.

Christmas/ New Year's. Every year, my WHOLE entire family gets together at our house. Every year, the amount of people gets bigger! Soon, we'll have to move to a bigger house! haha. Anyway, in the morning my nana would make pletta (sp?) and we'd have a Swedish smorgishboard (again sp?)

Religiously.. Easter. The week before is sort of mellow. But Easter is just a big celebration.

I had to go with Other because Halloween is my favorite because of the fact that it is my birthday.. only reason. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
