I end up buying every song on the album when I download. As for quality - I find that my ipod with a very good pair of speakers- or even on the base will give me a good quality sound... besides - do people actually still have a stereo - or just listen to the CD in the car driving around.. I have a stereo, and I enjoy very much sitting down in front of it to hear Martina sing to me, and me alone. Now, can I get a Martina albums on vinyl?? Heck the full size artwork alone would be worth the price of admission! Cordialyl, Tom |

Depending on who it is, I usually get the cd. But sometimes when it someone really good like Martina I get impatient and download I-tunes first and then the when I run across the cd I buy that too for the better quality and collecting the actual cd, case, booklet.
Anybody know where they sell those money-growing trees? |

I prefer buying the albums from the store. I like to be able to have the cd just...there. I do download a few songs, but I usually don't.

I do both but I prefer to download of Itunes for many reasons.
1. I can burn as many CDs as I want so if I wreck the CD as I have an Ipod and each CD has it's own playlist 2. I can't tell the difference in sound quality between regular CDs and downloaded CDs. Sure, the only cons for towards using Itunes is that most albums in Canada do not have a booklet so no pics and lyrics. I do have a few albums that I did get from Itunes that dom like Madonna's Confessions On the Dance Floor and Carrie Underwood's CD. |

I don't download music. If I want the CD I just go to the store and buy it.

I have a couple of stereos, actually! I like to turn 'em up LOUD when I'm cleaning! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) And as far as the quality, I don't actually mind some of the "lesser quality". It just makes me feel I'm listening to something more vintage, which I love. If its someone I really like, I always buy them in the stores. I never buy full CDs no iTunes unless it comes with some bonus song, which I have only done for Martina CDs (Timless and WUL). If I buy from iTunes it will just be a song or two from an artist that I dont want to buy the whole CD for.

I used to prefer going to the store, but downloading isso much easier and a little cheaper. Downloading is going to replace actual CDs in a few years, for sure.

I have a rule about this: If I want just one song, I'll usually just get it from Itunes. If i want more than that, I'll get the hard copy (also known as the uncompressed quality version lol) at at local store, amazon.com, or buy.com.
