No I dont - I have before - maybe like 10 total in my LIFE. But I really have no desire - especially seeing what it does to people.

I voted "Yes, socially", but I'm not sure if drinking 2 cans of beer, approximately 18 wine coolers, and 12 bottles of Mike's Hard Lime & Lemon in my entire life really puts me in that category, lol. I'll go 3 - 5 yrs w/o drinking anything alcaholic, but then maybe I'll have a wine cooler and a few Hard Limes/Lemons in the same month. Which will then be followed by another dry spell lasting several years, lol. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I am not old enough but I didn't vote for that because I didn't read all the options. I voted for no, never. When I am old enough my answer will be the same.

I've tried a few different drinks in my life, but they all tasted the same, and that is to mean "disgusting!" I don't know how anybody can sit there and down beer after beer. It tastes wretched; the foulest-tasting stuff I've ever put in my mouth. Gross gross gross!

I'm on the peer health action team at my university and the biggest problem that we see here is that a lot of people don't know how to drink responsibly. We can't tell people, underage or not, not to drink, because that's not realistic. All we can do is to teach them how to be responsible. If you ARE responsible, there shouldn't be a problem with it.

Nope. Not a good idea for me too. I'm glad I have resisted peer pressure with this. It's cool that a good amount of people are understanding around here - that does help.

Laura,
I laughed so hard at your first choice that I jsut had to chesk that one! ROTFL!

Actually, I am a social drinker, a glass of wine with dinner, a little nip here and there, nmaybe before the big Martina show with my sweetie, but that's about it. Little gin, little wine, no beer or other hard stuff.

Cordially,

Tom

Same here. I just don't exactly find it that appealing but I'm not legally old enough to do it anyways.

Yah, what's the story with that!
I see that a lot these days? Lime in beer? I can't see how that would taste good, unless you're trying to hide the taste of the beer.

As for me, I don't drink much beer, but I love nie Harp draught. Hold the citrus.

Cordially,
Tom

I guess I fit in with the yes, socially croud since there is no occasionally socially choice. It's just too many lly's in that phrase, I understand why you didn't put it! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Some stuff is ok every once in a while.. But I never get why someone would want to drink a lot. And who wants the feeling of trying to walk on a Tilt-A-Whirl? I sure didn't like that feeling! Plus, there are non-alcoholic beverages that taste better and cost a whole lot less!

I'm a social drinker but even those occasions are rather selective. I drink maybe 2 to 3 times a year and it is almost always at concerts.........particularly those of the TK variety. I do make up for my TEEEEEE-totalling ways at those however.

Know what I'm sayin'?

I do like to drink but choose not to but not for any "high moral" reasons. The reason I don't is because drinking makes me lethargic for a few days afterwords and it would eventually lead me to getting fat if I drank even semi regularly. And I don't roll that way.
