Little girl sits on a posrch swears she's just been through torcher as she looks up i can see the tears in her eyes i can almost feel the hurt inside and i swear it's just to much Bridge: she goes to open her mouth she's tryin' to tell me everything but not a single word comes out because she knows in reality Chorus: she's just pushing it all away everything she's dreamed for everything she's lived for she's just watching it all fade everything she's hoped for everything she's been through and it seems crazy to me and you but deep down she knows she hasn't always been like this she was a happy kid and now she's just pushing it all away Verse: before her brother was born there was a happy child who made a promise to herself she would be the best big sis one he would get along with one who always opened to help Bridge: now theres fights each night not only with her mother but with her brother her step dad and her step sis she blames everyone else but she knows inside she's really the one whose hard to get along with (chorus) her mom sits down she's a changed girl now I witness everything and it's hard to beleive that that girl changed so abruptly w/ that talk that evening on more thing I cant beleive is that girl on that porch once was me, only this morning but it seems such a while ago (chorus) hope you liked it! |
