Hey everyone,
Welcome to the brand new Martinaville bulletin board. The good news is there are plenty of new features and security upgrades here to make things more fun and less apt to get spammed. The bad news is the old database pretty much died when trying to upgrade it so I gave up and decided to start fresh. This should help everything run even faster (smaller database) and will let everyone start back again from zero. Just to be clear, since I'm getting a lot of e-mails on this. Everyone's accounts were deleted and the board is starting again from scratch. Everyone needs to sign up again for the board. We'll be making some changes as we go on, but everything should be somewhat set up at this point. If you have any questions, please post them in the thread here. We'll all be learning some of these new features together! Thanks, Darren |

and New, I wasn't able to be apart of the old board but I can be now! Cheer and many thanks for opening up forums for all people to enjoy not just people who have non-hotmail accounts. |

I understand that the message board had to be updated and I know what new features to expect, so I love that, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed that the entire database is gone... There was so much history there and it's sad to see it all gone after all these years... But oh well, I guess I'm gonna have to learn to live with that...

You did an AWESOME job on the message board and the new website!! It really does look great! Well, if we had to start from scratch, I guess the release of WUL is the best time to do it, hehe (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Although it's still sad to see everything gone, I didn't even get a chance to say goodbye to the old board... LOL
OMG, I just realized people are gonna be changing screen names now - how will I ever know who is who??? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) But I don't wanna seem too crabby, so I am going to say that I love the new board!!! Yeah, I agree, sad to see it all gone, and renew the accounts, especially for those who joined back in 2001, but oh well. The new board looks awesome and Darren did an awesome job!
