A baby left on a doorstep is not the daughter of a missing pregnant woman, the sheriff of Wayne County, Ohio, announced Friday afternoon.

Sheriff Thomas Maurer said the baby is not that of Jessie Davis, 26, of nearby North Canton, who has not been heard from since June 13.

i figured it wasn't...it's just a tragic situation for this young woman. i feel so sorry for what her parents are going through. i was watching nancy grace earlier and it sounded like she blamed the boyfriend on it.

Nancy Grace is so amazing...i love to watch her show. she really cares about these people. i don't blame her--her boyfriend/fiancee was murdered 3 weeks before their wedding


I feel sorry for the family of Jessie Davis. My heart/thoughts/prayers go out to this family and i hope they find the truth behind the boyfriend and seek justice in the trial

While it's not official that the body found is that of the missing woman, I'm sure it is. It's a sad situation... I'm really not sure how people think they need to play God and kill people for no reason. If the boyfriend is the one who did it - and the body is Davis AND her unborn child, I hope he enjoys his final resting place in hell because that's where he belongs.

That would be two counts of murder -- hopefully the death penalty would what the murderer got.

Agreed. Nancy Grace is the most obnoxious cable news personality ever. I think she's mentally unstable. She has no idea how to interview people, host a show, and I hate how she berates people who have opposing views. Very childish. She comes across as a very fake, very unprofessional person. Even her "passion" and "concert" while reporting stories comes off as phoney. She's more like a MadTV sketch than a real report.
