Hi everyone,

First off, happy New Year!, Yes, I know I am late, but we just got home from Florida. We went from sunny and 80 to 23 and snow. We drove for 3 days each way, for a total of 2,800 miles, while we listened to a lot of CD's(mostly Martina), we did listen to the radio for a good portion of the time that we were in FL and also the whole time we were in Nashville, 1 1/2 days. We only heard 3 Martina songs the whole trip on the different radio stations we listened to, something is terribly wrong with this picture!

Devon,
That is what I think also. We heard a lot of Kenny Chesney, Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts, Taylor Swift(she seems to be the flavor of the month), that is not all bad I do like her. I understand that radio stations only have a certain number of songs that they play but give me a break, Martina deserves to be played once in a while, and the 3 songs that we heard were 2 Christmas songs and Valentine, not even her new stuff.

Well, if they were country stations then it would be worse, but if they were pop stations,
wouldn't that be expected? She has had some pop hits but she is maily a country singer from what I have gathered, and besides, pop stations play alot of crap and don't play alot of talented singers,
so that's slso not surprising.

They were all country stations, I used the scan feature on the radio to pick up the strongest country station that would come in. In Nashville we listened to 95.5, The Wolf, and also the big 98, I think that is what is is called. In FL we listened to 101.9, Gator Country and 107.1 Cat Country.

It's been normal not to hear Martina very often on many country radio stations since the summer of 2004.
