I think its a disgrace that people all want one of your top A1 celebs to go to jail.
We cant put our elite talented soclialites into jail just because she broke a few stupid rules Remember all the good things she has brought to your country. She has helped the homeless, the ill, helped the old and the infirm. Helped fight global warming, helped in N,O after the hurricane. Yous surely have a short memory, when it come to remembering what she did in real situations like the Simple Life. She even did her bit for the troops in Iraq,by going out everynight. Are yous all communists or something, she is the American dream and yous want to wreck that. Shame on yous, shame on yous. This post has been edited by James: May 6 2007, 12:48 AM |

Who are you directing your post to?
She broke the law she should pay for her crime. I don't care if she's a celebrity or not. She did the crime. She should do the time. She's not invincible. She's lucky she didn't kill someone when she so selfishly got behind the wheel of her vehicle and drove while intoxicated. As for her breaking a few "stupid rules" that's just assinine. If you think the law against drinking and driving is stupid then I suggest you stop by a chapter of MADD or even stop by the ICU and visit someone that's been near death from a car wreck where the driver was drunk. Paris is a celeb. She should be setting an example. Not breaking the rules. Money won't buy her out of this one. Boo Hoo! BTW.. Paris is far from talented, IMO. She's a celeb because she is an heiress to a Hotel Chain. If not for that she would be nothing. |

Do you know how stressful it is for her to pick out a nice outfit from her huge collection of designer clothes,or see her maids and cleaners work hard for her. Thats why she goes out all the time,to get rid of the stress. She is even still in touch with the average person on the street and infact she knows what its like to go without eating,as she does that all the time, not to look anorexic, but to have empathy with the homeless. She is truely an American icon with so much talent and a inspiration to all. |

She broke the law. She deserves to go to jail. This will teach her to read before she signs anything (She tried to blame others for not knowing about not being allowed to drive, yet she signed something saying she knew!)

Reality check eh Paris?
I'm so glad shes doing time for her crime. It bugs me to see celebs let off as easy, and I have no tolerence for DUI. 45 days for Paris in a bright orange jumpsuit. |

I honestly thought that she would not have to serve jail time for her crimes..
so the LA DAs office is getting better at going after celebs that break the law - I guessed they learned some lessons from the past celeb trials like OJ... This post has been edited by sjfc102: May 6 2007, 09:42 AM |

If she thinks a judge is dumb enough to buy her defence, she needs psychiatric help. 45 days in jail is not a harsh sentence for impaired driving. What type of "work" does she do that she needs to drive a car. I'd better warn you to make sure you have your spam controls set on your email, otherwise you will get hundreds of spam emails about a "Paris Hilton prison video".

This whole post is stupid and pointless . . .
I am not really sure what Paris has done for our "community" except further expound on the "dumb blonde" theory. Also, I don't consider her a celebrity. She has done anything deserving of that role - she is just an heiress (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Edit - so you were being sarcastic? I thought you really meant it . . .I guess I need to read the whole post thread before responding (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) This post has been edited by Allyopps: May 7 2007, 05:57 AM |

She will probably get a special room in jail ...she'd get her butt kicked if she was housed with the other inmates.. oh well, even if its really minimum security she won't like it.

She'll get special treatment in jail anyway. She won't be with the "common criminals". No way would they put her (she's gorgeous, rich, famous, etc.) in an area with women who murder, steal, etc. She would definitely have problems if they did.
