It's baaaaaack. (IMG:http://martina-mcbride.com/martinaville/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Remember how fun all these discussions were last year? Haha.

GO GATORS. And UCF, Miami, and LSU.

Okay, so.

Heading up to Gainesville tomorrow at 6am for a 12pm game. I hate that drive up there. It's so boring and SO long. The rolling hills are gorgeous though. Enough talk about landscape.......It's FOOTBALL TIME! We're tailgating, like we always do, 'cept we're having a HUGE party this time, since it's the first game. Tomorrow should be a butt whoopin' on Western Kentucky.. Won't really show us how Tebow is yet. We won't know till he plays an SEC team.

Last night, LSU's offense did not look too good. Their defense, however, was stellar as usual. Look for them versus either Florida or Georgia in the SEC championship game.

UCF..got a new stadium - the Bright House Networks Stadium - and as the home opener they play Texas. Great way to start off a new season in a new facility. (IMG:http://martina-mcbride.com/martinaville/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) ..With a loss.

Miami will be Miami. May make top 25, may not. It all depends on coaching this year.

GO Miami

Umm, well I do remember a certain someone who posted last year:

"Who has Ohio State played this year? Michigan State? DON'T MAKE ME LAUGH!".

That hurt my feelings!

I heard about a devasting hit that an LSU wide receiver laid on a Mississippi State DB last night. The way it was described it a major hammer dropped on that defender. It sounds like the guy is going to be all right though.

I think you need to toughen up and go tailgate at "The O.B." instead of Gainsville. Nothing bad can happen there, can it? If I can tailgate with TK and Ran fans like I did a week ago tonight and "live to tell", then I think you can go back down to the war zone and party down. What is a little gunplay amongst fans anyways?

Besides the Canes, I am rooting for West Virginia to make it to the BCS title game this year. I love watching Slaton and White play as those 2 are really a dynamic duo! And that Owen Sterner cat is a bad dude too! Throw him in the backfield with the 2 speed burners and it is look the Hell out!!

Have fun tomorrow at the game. But don't forget about the Miranda/Jack Ingram Cross Country tonight as it looks like it's gonna be RAN-TASTIC!!!!

Why do I think that North Texas is "The Mean Green" or something strange like that?

The Canes play OU in week 2? That may be an early season game that I'll actually sit down and watch! If it is at OU you guys will probably win, but if it is at "The O.B" the Sonners are gonna have some trouble.

OU vs. The U! NIIIIIIIIIIICE early season game!

Here's one! GOOOOO DAWGS! And I'm sure you'll find a reply from our resident Dawg as soon as she reads this haha

I am SOOOO excited for tomorrow!!! I'm getting up extra early and wouldn't you know we're having all of our Tivos set to two different games each! I am soooo not a UNLV fan, but considering they are playing the Badgers tomorrow in town, I really wanted to go to that one just to celebrate...oh well.

Either way WHOOO HOO! Tomorrow is going to be a GREAT Saturday! (IMG:http://martina-mcbride.com/martinaville/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Wait...are you telling me there's another MIAMI fan here??!!! (IMG:http://martina-mcbride.com/martinaville/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I'm not the only one!

..I've tailgated at the OB. Literally almost got shot. That place is in the GHETT-to the-OHHHHHH shizz. And, TEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, I'm sorry I offended you...now it's "MICHIGAN [wolverines], DON'T MAKE ME LAUGH!"

FINALLY there is justice in college football. The entire Big 10 should be embarrassed. If ANYONE EVER says that UM should've been in that title game instead of the Gators, I will find you. I will, I promise.

Surprisingly, ECU put up a fight! Good. I can't stand VT. I feel for them, but if that shooting would've gone on in Miami or Detroit, it'd be an "oh, that sucks" kinda thing..

I gotta say I like your 2007 blast much, much, MUUUUUUCH better than the 2006 one!

I remember you posting about your tailgating adventure down at "The O.B." from last year. Matter of fact, after reading that I asked my friend from Jacksonville, F-L-A, who is a HUGE college football guy and goes all over the country watching games, about the neighborhood around The O.B. and he simply said............ "It is the WORST".

You get a total different impression of The O.B. if you have just seen it on TV. It looks so beautiful that you'd never think it was in a really bad neighborhood. I guess that is why the Cane's announcer said "You don't come down to The O.B. talking smack!". He was not kidding I see!

BTW, oyoukrissie is an Oklahoma fan. The "oyou" part of her name I am pretty sure stands for Oklahoma University which is where she goes to school.

But I'll show some Cane love with the following prediction for next week's EPIC early season matchup:

The U: 27
Honky Tonk University: 20

I may have just PO'd Krissie, Lori (Sis84) and Toby Keith with that predicition, but I really think the Canes are gonna be back sooner than later.

Well we spanked North Texas tonight, missing our highest score ever by 3 points. The game ended 79 to 10, us. Woot!

Hey, i'm all up for a good fight, but Sam Bradford (Freshman QB) was on FIRE tonight. The Miami game is going to be amazing, and unlike tonight no one will be dragging me out of the stadium to go eat pizza at half time!!!!

I think it's going to be a fight, but I have to stand by my boys. It's time we came back. My Freshman year was amazing (minus the National Championship game, I mean wtf?) and then 2 bad years, and now my SENIOR YEAR they better kick some butt and take some names...ESPECIALLY against Texas!

Now I need to go shower and scrub the OU and #1 off my face (IMG:http://martina-mcbride.com/martinaville/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
