Michigan lost AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They showed the score in The Swamp, and the place erupted again. Hahahahahahahaha. What an EMBARRASSMENT to the Big Ten. I love it. But there are a couple teams I respect in the Big Ten, like Wisconsin and Mich State.
If anyone thinks Miami got hammered yesterday, it was nothing compared to what happened to Michigan. The 39-7 score hardly tells the real dominance of an unranked Oregon team yesterday.
Oregon easily could have hung 60 pts on U of M as their 1st TD (a 1 yd run) was called back for illegal procedure and they settled for a FG. Oregon also turned the ball over on downs at U of M's 1 yd line in the 4th and fumbled the ball away in the 3rd qtr on U of M's 2 yd line. Their kicker also hit the crossbar on another field goal attempt. That totals 21 more points that Oregon easily could have had.
Oregon also had nearly 650 yds in total offense which was 200 yds more than Oklahoma had against the Canes. That was the second most in history against a Michigan team which has been playing football for over a century! It was 32-7 at halftime and it was never a contest. The best defense that U of M had against Oregon was to let them get inside their 5 yd line where Oregon's spread offense obviously had problems due to a lack of space.
Even with U of M's well know defensive problems you have to wonder what is the deal with their highly regarded offense? Henne and Hart were pre season Heisman candidates. Jake Long is the odds on favorite to win the Outland Trophy and the guard playing next to him is an All American candidate. And their two wideouts, especially Mannigham, are big prospects for the upcoming NFL draft and are supposed to go very high in the draft. And yet they only get 7 points at home against an Oregon team that is not supposed to be too hot on defense?
The camera shots of Michigan's crowd were absolutely HILARIOUS! God, I am so glad I went to State!
Know what I'm sayin'?
